Drama is set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island.
I have heard a lot of good reviews about this movie. I now understand why. Leonardo De Caprio’s acting was flawless. It’s like watching Titanic all over again. I also knew before watching it that the story had a twist on the ending. What I didn’t know is that before you finally reach that twist, you will first be lost in a lot more twists within a twist. You know those mind blown movies? This is one of them. Plus, I didn’t expect to cry in the end. What a sad and heartbreaking story.
