The inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.
Nothing new here. The story starts when a mysterious virus starts to spread in a small town affecting its people. The starts to act weird and later on transforms into zombies/undead. The lead characters though amazingly have not contracted the virus. Now, they are on the verge of escaping town and their people alive. In the end, they discover that the virus is none other than created by the government. Watching this will only remind you of 28 Days Later and Dawn of The Dead.
