College student Sara finds that her new roommate Rebecca has an obsession with her, which quickly turns violent.
I watched this movie expecting a chick flick. Turns out its about a psycho room mate from hell. WOW. It was interesting at the start but became pretty predictable once you’ve figured out that Rebecca (played by Leighton Meester) is not your ordinary room mate. Entertaining and worth watching if you’re bored.
/Side comment: DAMN, Cam Gigandet is hot.
On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history… but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.
It has been one of the most talked about movies this year and after watching it, I do think that it deserves all the attention (both good and bad) that it is getting. But before anything else, keep in mind that the movie is fictional. Yes, well some parts maybe true but this is not a biography movie. This movie is actually based on a book.
I think I enjoyed it more than I am ought to because I am an I.T graduate. Just thinking that almost everything in that facebook is now is done by this young billionaire is just mind blowing. Although Mark is portrayed all thru out the movie as “the bad guy”, you can’t help but love and praise him.
I was surprised with Justin Timberlake’s acting! I actually hated him (his character of course because I can never hate JT) the entire movie. Andrew Garfield, what a dreamy guy. Hnnnnng. And Jesse Eisenberg, who in the right mind can hate him? Really?
After watching this movie, you may bot look at facebook the same way again (in a good way).
A tale of friendship between two unlikely pen pals: Mary, a lonely, eight-year-old girl living in the suburbs of Melbourne, and Max, a forty-four-year old, severely obese man living in New York.
BASED ON A TRUE STORY. I read this line and it got me. One of the best stop motion movies I have ever watched. The mood was very dark but the story is just so touching and unbelievable. What are the odds that of all the people listed in that directory, Mary picked Max. Every detail in this movie is perfect. Mary’s voice is so adorable! Must watch! Must watch!
Based from the children’s novel by Roald Dahl, Three meean old farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean are on the hunt to kill Mr. Fox and his family after he stole from their farms. The movie will take you to their adventure and how Mr. Fox eventually saves the day.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is awesomely fantastic! Everything was perfect! Just because its a stop motion film does not mean that it’s only for the kids. :D I LOVE IT!:D
The story centers on Veronika, a woman in her mid twenties who appears to have everything: good looks, good job and a great life ahead of her. Yet she decides to end her own life. She is unsuccessful and awakens in a mental hospital where she learns that she a short time to live. However in the hospital she meets people who are only ‘insane’ because they don’t always follow society’s rules. With little left to lose, Veronika embarks on a journey on which she frees herself to experience relationships and emotions and ultimately discovers what it means to live.
There are a lot of boring scenes but the story starts to get interesting when Veronica meets Edward. The ending is quite predictable though. The book is definitely better but there is no harm watching the movie. Plus, I missed Sarah Michelle Gellar! The last time I saw her was during the Scooby Doo movies.
WOW AVATAR.
The story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family.
This movie will make you laugh and cry all at the same time. Its very light but it touches the heart right to the core. Watch it is very inspiring:) Sandra Bullock was so good in the film as well!
It’s the Fourth of July, and Kate and Bobby are struggling to make a decision: do they stick with tradition and spend the weekend with Kate’s family, or do they set out on their own for a spontaneous adventure? After making their initial decision, an alternate narrative emerges to show just what would have happened had they chosen to do otherwise. While the decision-making process may seem mundane, the implications of each choice are profound. Sure, a holiday with the family doesn’t seem nearly as exciting as an impromptu romantic trip, but that doesn’t mean it will be any less dramatic. As the stories diverge and a “what if” scenario becomes reality, it soon becomes apparent how much one seemingly minor decision can ultimately affect the rest of our lives.
Watch it! Watch it! Its a bit long but its worth watching plus Joseph Gordon Levitt, I don’t even know where to start<3
Iraq. Forced to play a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse in the chaos of war, an elite Army bomb squad unit must come together in a city where everyone is a potential enemy and every object could be a deadly bomb.
I only watched this movie on my iTouch but I felt like I was in Iraq. It was that good. Every scene just makes your heart burst, thinking that it does not only happen in the movie but in real life. Watch out for the cute kid named Beckham and the suicide bomber scene. Definitely heartbreaking</3
Charlyne Yi embarks on a quest across America to make a documentary about the one subject she doesn’t fully understand: Love. Michael Cera becomes the object of her affection. Weaving together reality and fantasy, Paper Heart combines elements of documentary and traditional storytelling to get at modern romance.
I may be the last person to see this movie but still. DEFINE GIDDY: Me. I was laughing and smiling and giggling all thoughout the movie. (note: I am in the office)There are scenes that I just had to pause the movie because I can’t control being giddy:”> (too bad Michael Cera already broke up with her after 23 years=( ) Though she is kinda weird, their chemistry is A-mazing.
